Different Types of Electrodes
Electrode Grinding Means:
Electrode cap grinding is usually divided into on-line grinding and
off-line grinding.
On-line grinding of electrode cap is to directly grind the
electrode cap on the machine without removing it. At present,
robots are all equipped with automatic grinders for grinding.
On-line grinding of suspended welding gun and vertical welding
machine usually adopts manual file grinding and pneumatic grinders
for grinding.
The other is to use a file or abrasive paper for grinding, but the
shape reducibility of the electrode cap is relatively poor, and it
takes labor. At this stage, the most common method is to use a
pneumatic grinder to repair directly on line; The method of offline
grinding of the electrode cap is to remove the electrode cap and
tidy it up when the electrode cap is to be polished.
